what plan.tattoo is
plan.tattoo (formerly dollparts) is a tool for trying tattoo designs on 3D figures before you get them. It is run by Moirai Digital.
your account
One account per person. Keep your password to yourself. You can delete your account any time from "manage account" in the account menu, and that deletes what we hold about it.
what you upload
You own what you upload, or have the right to upload it. Artists confirm this for every piece of flash and every photo of healed work. What an artist puts on their page is public; your plans and your own designs are private unless you publish them.
content rules
No images of real people's nudity. Nothing hateful. No one else's flash or photos passed off as yours. No spam. Pages that break these rules are hidden or removed, and artist pages can be suspended.
sharing a plan
A plan saved to your account can be shared at a public link.
- What sharing publishes. A still of the plan, its name, the figure, the credits of any flash in it, and display copies of your own designs in it. Your original files stay private.
- Anyone with the link can see the page and open a copy of the plan in plan.tattoo to edit as their own. Your plan is not changed by that. Share pages are not listed by search engines, but a link can be passed on by anyone who has it, so share only what you are happy for others to see and reuse.
- You own your art. Sharing gives other people no rights in your designs beyond opening a copy of the plan in the tool, and gives us only what we need to show the page.
- Unshare removes it. Unsharing takes the page down and deletes the still and the display copies. Deleting the plan unshares it first. Copies other people already opened stay with them.
- We can take a page down that breaks the content rules or that we are told infringes someone's rights, without notice if we have to.
flash on plan.tattoo
Flash is shown at display size only, never the original file, and a credit mark goes on exports. Artists keep every right in their work and can delete it any time.
referrals
An artist's link credits them with the people it brings in. That is recorded once and kept. Nothing about it is charged to you.
